Pretty Sure My Belly Grew Overnight

I am 28 weeks today. And boy, do I feel it. A complete stranger came up to me two days ago and asked me "how many months are you" . I told him 6 months and he replied "Oh! Only 3 more to go!" Surprisingly , my first reaction was to ....punch him for the reminder. (Hormonal, ya think?) Of course I smiled at him but I couldn't help think "3 more months? Really?" I already am feeling big and now I have 3 months to get bigger. I know that compared to some women I am tiny but I am 32 years old and my body is not what it used to be. (I will be the first to admit that.) It's getting harder to move in bed. And I find myself making grunting noises as I switch positions. Interesting enough, my husband seems to be still turned on by it all. Which I don't mind. It's nice to know that my husband still thinks I am sexy even when I am not carrying his child.

Small tokens of appreciation

What a surprise! I came home to find flowers for me from the parents! It is so nice to have parents that are so grateful. I feel very lucky that we found each other.

New Year!

Gosh. Time flies when you are busy and pregnant. It's been awhile since my last post and I have a lot to catch up on. In early December the parents came to the states for their visit. After almost a year of communicating online we finally saw each other face to face. I was nervous to meet them. But my nerves quickly went away after the first few minutes. There were here for about 3 days. Day one we went to see thier daughter through 3D ultrasound. I personally have never done one for my own kids so it was very neat to see what was inside me. It was wonderful to see the parents expression as they saw thier daughter for the first time. I hope they will remember that always.

The next couple of days were spent at my house, shopping for the baby, basketball game, and meeting more of my family. The only tough part was the language barrier. Since they are from Spain, they speak ony Spanish. And my Spanish is so/so. I am sure you can imagine how it was. Thankfully my mom (fluent spanish speaker) was with us so she did a lot of translating. That was wonderful. My mom is wonderful. After the weekend the parents went to San Francisco to spend a few days there and sightsee. They flew back to Spain after and will plan to come back when the baby is born.

The pregnancy is going good. Although I am noticing some differences with this pregnancy compared to the other two that I have had. But I will probably will talk about that in another post.

Overall things are going well. I am 27 weeks and have 12 weeks to go before the due date. Things are pretty much the same around the house. Kids are doing good with the baby. Both shaun and Ysabel read to the baby at night and every once in a while they will each come up to my belly and talk to Silvia and say a quick hi. It's very sweet and I love how caring they are. They make this experience so much easier.
